One day we took grandma out for a car ride and we ended up at a apple orchard, and I pulled up under a apple tree and she picked a apple off of the tree. She was so excited and happy. I took her back to the nursing home and Terry and everyone came out to visit with her. We told them about getting the apple and Terry started teasing gma and telling her that we were going to get in trouble by the cops for stealing that apple...Grandma loved it when Terry picked on her and she got all serious like and said "I didn't steal no apple...she did...and pointed at me and Terry said "she as a picture of you holding the stolen apple...and Grandma said "I didn't steal no apple and they can't prove it". Grandma had so much fun that day...She laughed and laughed. And then she ate the apple. Even though it was hard for her to chew. She said it was the best apple she ever had. It was a good day. I can still hear her laughing and holding onto that apple.
